I use playnite and it closes and restarts

I use playnite to manage my entire library of games (including steam games), and it does things like track playtime, and stuff like that. Everytime I try to launch dream BBQ it launches it then immediately reboots itself so it cannot be tracked. I know I could just use steam, but I am heavily OCD and do not like that.
Update: Used the fact that I open a dummy window for games on linux to track them as a sign that I should just track it on playnite that way, and play it on linux.
