[SPOILER] Calling Coral Glasses doesn't work?

People say that if you call the girl that gives you her fax number, who's name, apparently, is Coral Glasses, you get an achievement and more dialogues.
I figured on my first playthrough that there's definitely something to do with the crazy cat girl who says she's good at organizing things.
So on my second playthrough, I got the fax number, scanned it, went and talked to the cat girl, then dialed the fax number... And all I get is "line is busy" beeps. No achievements, no extra dialogues.
What gives? I tried several time with the same result.

I think you have to be in an area other than the crazy cat girl (taski maiden) when you dial. Try dialing in the seal house or the tunnels.

I tried dialing in right away when I got the number as well. It still only did "line is busy" beeps. The only thing that changes is that coral glasses starts spazzing and printing a new page. But it results in nothing else, no dialogue lines or anything.

you have the first steps right !! get fax from coral > progress > talk to taski - then, you need to be indoors. what worked for me was going back inside the ship (to the room with the stained glass) note: you also have to dial it twice, first input will make a noise, second will make dialing noises for each number and start ringing. lmk if this helps, if not the number could be off or there's a bug (which i can try to help you find a fix)

I hope that's a bug and it'll get fixed, because that sounds highly obscure and specific. Why would it only work indoors?
Oh, well.. I'm planning on going through the game for the third time tomorrow, to see the rest of the stuff that I've missed. And I'll give this a shot as well.

The phone numbers seem to only work in areas where you can actually find a phone number. The reason the inside of the ship works is because of the gift shop, which has Phindol's phone code on a bobblehead.

There's Froggies phone number near the bridge. And calling him works. But calling Coral does not.
