Guide for Translation

I'm making this thread to hopefully help anyone who wants to translate the game to do so without many issues. There's a LOT of technical information, but if I figured this out from zero Unity modding experience, you can too!
As a disclaimer, all three of EDBBQ's fonts (the one regular font and the two accessibility fonts) support the ISO/IEC 8859-1 [en.wikipedia.org] standard, which allows translation for most western, central, and north European languages.
I'm not entirely sure how to edit the font at this point in time, so any guidance on that is appreciated.

Here's the technical details of doing dialogue translation. You will need UABEA[github.com] to access basically anything here.

All dialogue is stored at ~/ENA Dream BBQ/ENA-4-DreamBBQ_Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneWindows64/yarndialogue_[...].bundle.
Utilizing UABEA to open this .bundle yields two assets: one named en and another named ENA4 Release. These assets are both a part of the container Assets/Dialogue/ENA4 Release.yarnproject and are of the type MonoBehaviour.

In the en asset, after some initialization(?) code, we see some important stuff:

This section of code relates the "values" table to the "keys" table.

After this, we get another important snippet:

The values here are either "lastline", "skip_typewriter", and "nolog"; I assume "lastline" serves as a marker to loop the dialogue, and "nolog" makes text not be logged in the dialogue log—as for "skip_typewriter", I'm not sure.

To do any dialogue edits (and potentially any other text edits), you need to patch catalog.json with AddressablesTools[github.com]. I'll show how to use it here, since I was confused for like 30 minutes.

Once you download the archive, unzip it to a folder. Then, you're gonna open up your command prompt and use this:

"(path)/Example.exe" patchcrc "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/ENA Dream BBQ/ENA-4-DreamBBQ_Data/StreamingAssets/aa/catalog.json"

Alternatively... You can just download the patched catalog.json from here[files.catbox.moe].

To translate the UI text (menu, settings, mission descriptions), you'll have to go to ~/ENA-4-DreamBBQ_Data/resources.assets with UABEA. Inside UABEA, you'll press "Info" and then, in the new window, navigate to TextMeshProUGUI and OptionsSettingsData.

You will see that there are almost a hundred different copies of TextMeshProUGUI. You have to go through each individual one to translate the UI one string at a time; I have no clue why. This same fate applies to OptionsSettingsData. There's no easier way to do this, as far as I know.
Reportedly, there's other UI text in ~/ENA-4-DreamBBQ_Data/Managed/JoelG.ENA4.dll, but I can't see anything in there with Resource Hacker.

Also, for some reason, all of the Taxi Driver's dialogue is stored in some far-off place that we don't know yet! This is still being worked on, so I'll update this message when we understand it better.

Do you know where the "Skip" and "Hang Up" texts are stored, I found one but it seems it wasn't the correct one.
I'm also wondering where is all the main menu text, so far I only found the names that appear on the save selection screen.

Hi! Im trying to override the setting's text but what is "Info" you explaining? Is that the "info" thing under the tools menu? If that so- I dont know how I actually can go from here, I even cant find any TextMeshProUGUI and OptionsSettingsData stuff

also: Yes I tried to export all of the TextMeshProUGUI and OptionsSettingsData (monobehavior) and translated required text and out it back, but nothing changed? Is there anybody who were succeed with translated option
