Alternate dialogue?

Whenever i talk to the guy that tells you to find the taxi drivers head Ena says "Wha...! wh-what a barb-! Who could dare?!" But I've seen a couple videos where she instead says "oh no. what a barbarity. who could dare."

Same thing goes for the taxi driver himself. When i talk to him she says "what kind of work are you inmates offering to the public?" But apparently she can also say "What do you suckers do for a living?"

I've tried multiple saves and they all said the same thing.

Does anyone know why this happens?

yeah i am noticing that too! sometimes Meanie ena will talk instead of the salesperson ena, I don't really know what triggers it or not. i heard some stuff about it

- there is a random RNG value that triggers specific cutscene versions regardless of your actions
- it changes depending which of the 3 saves you pick
- every copy is personalized; some people are theorizing your PC SPECS changes how the game will play out.

i only got the "what a barb" one in my own game, though i too also had seen clips where it's meanie speaking instead

That's FEN (the guy in the house) tho, not the Taxi Driver. If it was him tho, it'd have been extremely helpful to me ...

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think this is what causes the house guy's alternate dialogue. From the few playthroughs I've seen, people talking to him directly get the meanie line, and people who check the taxi first get the salesperson line. I think taxi guy is just random though? It might have to do with the method you get his head. All the times I've seen people go through the crawl space has the "what do you do for a living" head, and I know there's at least one other way to get it by going through the hole in his sleeve.
