There is a simple solution to calm jester farmers and those who are serious about adding LGBT content to video games so they can feel good about themselves:
Every developer should consider making a base game without LGBT content and then selling an LGBT-themed DLC. That way, it could cater to those desires and make them happy or whatever.

We shouldn't have to make anything for these gays unless the game directly features or is about them. Especially considering how long it took for this game to be made we don't need to halt chapter 2 because the gays wanted to see representation.

It's a pointless waste of time and money. Unless the dev planned that or their game is about that then they shouldn't have to waste their time adding something that caters to a group of people.
