Weird NPCs that don't appear every playthrough?

I'm either very inattentive or there are some small NPCs that don't seem to appear every time or have unusual conditions for them to show up, have you guys seen those?

- Red Flea on the starting city, interactable, remarks that ENA looks dehydrated and asks you to drink more water
- Walking Tree on the desert, near Taski Maiden, over the ditch, seems to be mimicking her movements somewhat
- Jumping *Something* Inside the slightly creepy abandoned boat area, looks kinda a piece of meat, I can't tell what it is
- Walking Mannequin after the bridge is sometimes replaced by a different version that only walks on all fours

I found Taski Maiden in the maze, while my friend (who is playing at the same time as me) did not.

I've went through the maze twice and once she was there and in the other she wasn't. In the playthrough where she didn't show up I did the achievement for getting her a job so maybe it's related.

Oh, interesting that it isn’t file slots. I guess I was either unlucky and rolled pretty much the same every time or was erasing some data responsible for varying the game.

I, too didn’t catch Taski Maiden in the maze, exited/completed the achievement, then returned and did not find her there in floor 2. Does she have unique dialogue?

didn't get a picture of it, but there was one time I was going through the purge event and saw something walking in the extinction party corridor. walked too close and didn't get to take a pic in time though :(

I can double up on this one, wonder if maybe is related to talking or not to her beforehand or truly random

Ye, no new animations or anything, just a couple lines, much like during the Purge Event

I'd be pretty interested on that, went through the vents like 8 times, checked the corridor mosts of the times and didn't see anything so far

ALSO

I think there are some stuff that is permanent, or somehow defined by Steam ID? I was just watching a lets play today and saw that SOME ENA LINES ARE INVERTED FROM WHAT PERSONALITY SPOKE THEM

those lines were always the same for me, and they are close to start of the game, I've seen them enough to be pretty certain that its somehow "locked" for me, namely the lines with the house NPC that starts the taxi head questline and the first line you say to the taxi driver, both were voiced by green ENA for me, but watching someone play it, both lines were said by red ENA, the house one even had different ENA animation

Similar to that, the little entity drawings on the main menu may also be "personalized", I have a grinning chained mouth on the left and a raining painting of a coat on the right

on my first playthrough of the game when I entered the hut in the Hidden Village the resulting tunnel was empty of the little people and there was a figure I kept seeing popping in and out of the holes at the top of the tunnel that let light in and I was pretty freaked out about it lol
the other times I've played and entered the tunnel tho, it's been full of the little pointing people and I haven't seen the thing popping in and out since; wonder if it's a random chance for either tunnel version to occur

I also encountered the hanging woman my first Purge Event - I encountered another NPC my second time, and haven't been able to find the Taski Maiden yet at all

I just found the grass again but by the Taski maiden and some of it isn't out of bounds. The tree man switched between the same places as the grass so i wonder if they can also be in bounds.

I think I saw it watching a playthrough, it seemed to throw another entity into the river, unless thats yet another event that could happen in the tunnel along with the flood of lost village denizens

The Tree isn't interactable, I did try that when it spawned near Taski, I'm surprised the grass thing is

I think I saw it watching a playthrough, it seemed to throw another entity into the river, unless thats yet another event that could happen in the tunnel along with the flood of lost village denizens

yeah there was another entity thrown into the river during my first playthough
I can't remember exactly what it looked like bc I only caught glimpses but I think the head/face looked like a purple mask with two dark blue vertical stripes, or smth similar, and it had dark voids where eyes should be. kinda reminded me of a recolored Noface from Spirted Away
(don't quote me on this tho!)

Idk if i did something or got lucky but i found them first try. It was hard to get screenshots so i missed alot but i got a few, there must be multiple because they are different colors.

Idk if i did something or got lucky but i found them first try. It was hard to get screenshots so i missed alot but i got a few, there must be multiple because they are different colors.

I've discovered that there are different NPCs in different places among the dancers at the purge event. Not sure if there's any unique ones other than the human guy in the corner.

I wonder what determines which characters appear in the Auction? I've only met the travelling king (the guy who tells you how the village puzzle works) and the raincloud's son.

i saw the guys looking at me in the rainbow room a few times now and every time that happens i see the guy by the taxi. Ive talked to the guy stuck in the house there also and i think that happens when you press E while looking an him but I havent really tried to confirm it so dont quote me on that.
