laggy integrated cutscenes
note: i dont know the official name for these but they differ from the usual "overworld" interactions with characters. im referencing the dialogues where a character takes over the screen to talk with ena, and if you pause instead of the red-white filter its a simple purple-green-black pause menu.

Anyway. i notice that these animations have difficulty playing and remaining synced with dialogue on my laptop. when i get back home ill post my specific specs but i wanted to post this in case others have this issue as well.

if it works for you, great! but its not helpful for troubleshooting so if all you have to say "It works for me" please refrain

I'm currently having the same problem. I'm playing on a Win10 laptop

I'm running a Win11 laptop, and I did notice that on a lot of the longer cutscene conversations, the animation would just freeze up for a good 10-15 seconds, which is really unfortunate because otherwise the game was flawless.
yeah this happens to me especially in the first cinematic, it freezes a lot

Based on all the things I've seen people say, it seems to be an issue specifically for laptops. Which is a pain, because I got no alternative.

Yea, I use a laptop too and it's so weird to me how everything runs completely perfect and smooth while the cutscenes freeze while the audio continues without it. Since ENA's known for the cutscenes I'm just gonna wait until it gets fixed hopefully. I'm really glad that the game itself runs smoothly though because I didn't expect my laptop to have a great experience

Same problem here. Don't know how much this will help but I heard it helped for some people to turn down the fps in the settings and turning off vertical sync or something like that.. didn't rlly help for me but just wanted to throw it in here
