How do I speak to the person in the skull corridor / Enter the gold door?

I've found a secret skull corridor in the uncanny streets area right outside the purge event entrance through a square hole directly across from it. I parkoured into it using a gold ring and ledge nearby it.
I was excited to see that I discovered a new area, but it seems that I found the wrong entrance since there's a ledge blocking the way to the main chamber. The ledge is just low enough to see a figure sitting next to a gate, and they'll even turn to look at you when you get close enough. In addition, there's a visible tunnel that I assume leads to the golden door near the start of the level.

Has anyone come across this? Does anyone know how to get through the alternate entrance?

probably the golden door? not really sure tbh, tried going thru every holes in the walls n it seems none goes to it

i spent like 30 min trying to get into that hole just to find out it was the exit lol

In one of the newer posts, about the top of the canyon area, I found someone talk about a skull/head that spawns sometimes somewhere on the top and that interacting with it makes it “emote, scream and burrow in the ground”. Wonder if it’s somehow related to the skull room. I can’t find that head. Somehow even they can’t seem to get the head to spawn in new runs.

This is a sort of the main goal right now for me because there's a collectible inside, you can hear it. It seems the golden door is the way in, and the little nook is an exit. I have no idea how to open the door though.

Ok I managed to spawn the head somehow. I went back to the menu and reloaded. The head was on top of the canyon. Touching it saved the game. I’ll update if something happened with the skull room

If you're referring to the guy in the room, yes. He turns his head when you get close enough.

Well. I give up. Live checked all the holes in the walls except for the 2 on either side of the big ear. The most ive manage to progress it to climb on top of the cliffs without triggering the building from blocking the way. Did that by climbing the taxi door that’s open and then the rest is as usual from there. You can run from the ear to the taxi direction safely without triggering the building.

I think your experience mirrors mine pretty well. I've scoured as much as I can think to check in the area. I even found that you can crouch to get inside most of the coffin occupied holes, but none of them go anywhere.
I figure the gold doors might require some sort of key to get in, but I'm not sure what. The only skull related thing I could think to bring is the human board, but I'm pretty sure you have to wreck the taxi to get it, so idk.
If someone can figure out how to clip through the floor of the uncanny streets (like what can be done via some corners in the maze), then they could look up while falling to confirm that it connects to the golden door.

Oh one more thing I forgot to mention. Just like how you could dial numbers in specific areas for one of the achievements, you are able to dial numbers in this whole area. Didn’t try dialing any of the known numbers tho.

i tried calling all the known numbers several times near the taxi and also in the skull hallway but didn't get anything special. the fact that you can dial anywhere in this place makes me suspicious though, maybe there's another number hidden somewhere?
