I'm gonna be honest I assumed he was one of those guys who complains about "woke games" and I wanted to slam dunk him by pointing out he lacks the media literacy skills to see that most media disagrees with him, but then he actually spent the entire time being unable to read at a 6th grade level so it's just been an uphill battle to get him to understand the only language he can speak.

Extremely ironic coming from someone who literally has thousands of hours in triple AAA games to call a game like this boring.

I haven’t watched the series either but I really liked the game,
so much that I’m trying to get all the achievements for fun, the animation of some the interactions are really good if you pay attention to it, but I’m not gonna make this a big deal like the one guy did But I did see your review I get where you’re coming from, but like the whole game is just supposed to be goofy and silly, and if that ain’t your cup of tea thennn this game probably isn’t for you

Esoteric exploration games are less about riveting gameplay and more about the experience of being in such a strange world - it's a game that takes a lot of inspiration from LSD Dream Emulator and Yume Nikki, among others, where the point was mostly just exploration and seeing all the artistic expressions of the impossible. It's not about getting good or a high K/D ratio or minmaxing a build, it's about exploring how it feels to dream while you're awake. Figuring out how to find secret areas is a huge part of the appeal as well - knowing that there's hidden realms that exist even deeper if you do the right things is a major part of what makes them appealing as well.

It's ok to not like the game, but the discussions isn't exactly the place to put this kind of criticism unless you genuinely want to hear others' opinions on it. Just say it isn't recommended in the reviews for the game and move on.

I'm sure steam didn't say that the discussions isn't the place for this . Discussions are for things related to the game. I simply said it was boring in 2 sentences and was going to leave it at that . I could care less if the steam community came up with the rule on not critiquing a game. That seems to be a new trend now in gaming where you can't say anything but " it was terrific " . Anyways I won't go into that at this moment. I decided to entertain that guy because he's one of the unhinged narcissistic people that show up on forums to do what he did.

He changed the topic from the game immediately and accused me of several things such as skill level , life friends , etc. Now ... I understand that steam may have a rule against deviating from the original topic . That's fair.... i could have simply blocked the guy ... or even better ... not blocked the guy and just let him say what ever he wanted while laughing to myself .

Either way it was entertaining . See... every so often i have three types of people i get into it with. 1.) someone i 10-0 in a Mortal Kombat ( fighting game ) who can't take a loss so they start with their narcissistic accusations . 2.) The forum troll who twists words and makes accusations simply for the sake of arguing . 3. ) The person who looks at anything anime related on my profile then accuses me of being a creep for it BUT ... then you go to their profile and find out they consume tons of it ( projecting ) . When you call it out on person 3 they block your account ... youtubers have even covered this .

Take a look at that elden ring post i made called " i don't think malenia is that hard of a boss " If you take the time to read everything you'll see just how unhinged the responses are , how they twist words and you'll even see a few people apologizing because they didn't fully read.

An opinion that deviates from the norm is all that is needed today for a person to go full bananas on you and accuse you of things.
