Personally, I subscribe to the notion that ENA is an undead (bloodless) being of multiple parts derived from one individual or a connected community of characters. The original name for ENA used a backwards 'E', which in math means that something is unique and only ever has one instance of itself. The reason it was changed was supposedly just because it's difficult to write with a keyboard.
Under this theory, the 'emotional' ENA of season 1 would be a different figment of ENA in general, which may exist somewhere in the world independently, while also being the same character. This is more so based on their appearances, but I assume that each ENA stands for a different part of this one being, with the blue-yellow ENA being emotions or expressions.
i think we're following a new ena now in this type of 2nd chapter, which can be backed up due to the shepherd specifically saying "another ena troublemaker" implying theres WAY more than one ena, with this new one trying to also reach enlightenment or something in some other way, not sure though
I guess we'll just have to wait for the game to come out to get answers
