2 achievements not unlocking

These 2 achievements did not unlock outside of the game:
- Thank You For Playing!
- In the Dead of Night

Not sure why they are not unlocking since I did what was needed, but I am mentioning it anyway since would love to 100% the game!

I got the achievements after doing the "reject the case" choice then starting from the beginning again

Weird, I 100% followed the guide multiple times and I also see the ending and all but it just doesn't give the achievements while other achievements did drop.
Not sure if resetting the game and doing them all again would work, but no clue how to do that!

I got last two achievements after starting a new game and following the steps for the good ending. I don't know if it's required, but I didn't save/load while completing the plot for the second time. Also, if you did the things correctly, you should get a scene you didn't see after completing it for the first time.

I got the extra scene and started a new game for it but the achievements just don't seem to drop and I don't get it, also no clue how I can remove all my saves and start a 100% clean game so I can try it again since no matter what I delete from the game folder, the save files are still there which means the game isn't clean and every time after I started the game, I verify my files and am missing some while I didn't miss them before I started so no clue what is happening and sad that the devs don't respond either since I am not alone on this!

I'm having the same problem. Also tried multiple times and it still doesn't count as made, it's so sad. If anyone managed to solve it, please, let us know.

(Disclaimer: I'm not one of the devs, I just play a lot of VNs)

The game is clean; the save files repopulating is a function of the game engine (Ren'Py)--it stores save files in two different locations specifically so that people who uninstall the game will still have their saves and game progress if they reinstall.

The exact second location will depend on your OS, but if you're on Windows the backup saves for this game will be in C:\Users\[YOUR WINDOWS USER NAME]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Stillwater-2012132023

(AppData is a hidden folder by default but typing it in the file explorer should get you there)

If you delete the "persistent" file in this folder AND the save folder in your Steam game install, you should be able to completely restart the game. You can delete the actual saves too but just having them around shouldn't affect progress unless you actually use them. I was able to get all the achievements for this game fairly recently so they're not completely locked.

Okay, I tried to delete all files again even though last time that didn't help, also decided to play in fullscreen instead of windowed and clicking all text by mouse/spacebar instead of fast forward and not sure what worked but I got the last 2 achievements now!

Guys for some reason,the first and the main achievement called "" "Where It All Begins
Played" : Stillwater for the first time. "" doesnt work for me!!

I have deleted the game and downloaded it back multiple times to fix it but it didnt work. I have also tried to delete the game files but they have magically appeared back?? SO, im like so confused on how i couldnt get the main achievement.

Can someone pleeasse help. I really wanna get all the achievement and finish the game fully.
