No graphics, black screen

Okay, seriously, this is getting ridiculous now. I bought this old game and it does not display any graphics on any machine I own. It doesn't play at all on my desktop, and my laptop shows black screens, with the sound working fine, just no graphics. Occassionally I might see a particle effect, but that's all. This doesn't happen with the GTA games, and it doesn't happen with Legacy of Kain games [the basis for comparison being they are all roughly early Playstation era], so what is going on HERE? I've asked about this before, it has never been resolved, and my money is more or less wasted. Bastards.

Had the same issue. Switched from integrated Intel Graphics to NVIDIA Graphics (via NVIDIA Control Panel) on my laptop and that solved the problem.

And wouldn't you know it, it worked!! Good thing I had an NVIDIA laptop in the first place. Thanks Vic! I've been aching to play this thing for too long. Now I can save the Earth from stuff!

Same issue, just got this! Sadly the regular ver. runs slightly better.. I tried adjusting my graphic settings on my Nvidia card, yet still black screen on everything :(!
