I HAVE NO SOUND!!

LEGo Batman 2 sound doesnt work. All other sounds work perfectly but LEGO Batman 2 Sound Effects don't. HALP

Did you check the integrity of the game cache files?

The game cache files. If the game isn't working properly, there may be something missing or corrupted in your game files. The way you check is go to your library, right click on the game, and go to properties. Then go to the local files tab and click "verify integrity of game cache". Doing this should fix anything that's wrong.

If you right click on the game, there's an option that says, "Delete Local Content". This will delete the game files and you can reinstall them by clicking the + next to the game after the files have been deleted.
If that doesn't work, you should check steam support. They can probably answer your problems better than I can.

Or try changing your sound settings to a lower quality, e.g. 48000 instead of something else (presuming I got that right). I forgot how to do it though, but it helped my friend get Skyrim working.

Ceige is right, some games like sonic and sega all stars won't even start if you don't put your audio quality to the 24 bit 48000 khz. I have mine at 192000 studio khz quality, so I have to change it when I want to play.

WORKED: change sample rate and bit depth so lower settings, like said above. Worked for me in a different old Lego game.
