Which game is better? Lego batman 2 or lego marvel superheroes

Hi, i want to play a lego game, but i dont know which of them is better
lego batman 2 or lego marvel superheroes

Start off with whichever one is cheaper. They're both pretty close on quality and gameplay, if you like one then you'll definitely go for the other. Marvel has much better world navigation and a few more gameplay mechanics, IMNSHO Batman 2 has the better story.

I prefer Marvel, but I own Batman 2 and I like very much.
But our friend above is right, if you like one you'll definitely like the other.
Lego Marvel has achievements, so if I was to choose, I would buy Marvel first. :)

Lego Marvel, by far. The controls are just better (especially in the flying bits) there's more things to do and find, the open world is a lot more pleasant and easy to navigate and the missions always give you a different combination of heroes to play with, unlike Batman 2 that forces you to stick with Batman and Robin for about 3-4 missions straight before another Superhero comes in.

Not that Batman 2 is a bad game, far from it. But you can see that Marvel is a game that learned a lot from the mistakes of its big brother ;) .

Yes LEGO Marvel is the best one, LEGO Batman 2 is a decent game in it's own right but you're going to want to get LEGO Marvel if you want the better game.

Dunno, I found Lego Marvel to be one of the worst games in the franchise. Sure there's an open world, but what's the point when it's so empty and boring? The story was boring, and some of the game mechanics were tedious after a short while, like turning from Bruce Banner into Hulk. Personally, I think Lego Marvel went for quantity over quality, and that's never a good thing.

I played Lego Marvel first and then bought Lego Batman 2. I found the character switching and the freezing after every gold brick collected to be very annoying in Batman. The flying is especially frustrating. I prefered Marvel over Batman 2.

I imagine Batman 3 will include all of the improvements introduced in Lego Marvel so, maybe hold out of that?

It does. No more Gold Brick freezing and the flying controls finally realized that using the right-analog stick to rotate the camera (as you do when you're on the ground) is a much sounder idea.

So yeah, Lego Batman 3 learned with Lego Marvel.

Personally, having played all three games, I still think Lego Batman 2 is the best. LMSH tried to hard to include as many characters as possible, and the game suffered from it. Lego Batman 3 suffers from the same thing. With so many characters and so many places to go, it has lost focus. Less is more, and all that. Don't get me wrong, all three games are great, so you can't go wrong either way. I just wish we can stay in a single city in Lego Batman 4, or that the story in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 are far more intereting and focused.

Or who knows? Maybe even make a Lego Marvel vs DC, taking place in Manhattan and Gotham? Just two cities, yet both cities huge, varied, different and very, very detailed. And enough characters from both franchises to last a lifetime or two. :)

If you like DC characters and the gotham vibe (dark night crime city) you'll like Lego batman 2, if you like Marvel characters and daytime you'll like Lego marvel

Lego Marvel is much better than Batman 2. They aren't even in the same league.

marvel by far.... the open world NY city is way way better than the dreary gotham...
