Flying controls?
I've found a few references to the flying controls on here, including someone saying LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 'fixed something that wasn't broken' (or something like that).

I hated the flying controls in LEGO Marvel, so before I buy this, I'd like to know: how exactly are flying characters and vehicles controlled in this game with a gamepad?

I found one FAQ that had a 'controls' section, and it indicated that the Jump button is used to accelerate, and the left analog stick is used to steer left/right *and* up/down. If that's true, that's exactly what I want, so... is it?

Thanks in advance. :cluck:

Yes,

x for jump, z for attack, c for special, space, enter or Backspace to switch charecters(hold for a menu of charecters, only works in free play), arrow keys or WASD to move(or steer if flying), one of the 2 movement crontrol can be used to look around

Oh hey, that was a while ago. I forgot to say, nearly a year ago -- thanks, BushwalkerSP. I bought and played it, and the controls were exactly how I hoped they'd be. I 100%ed it, which I never did in LEGO Marvel because of its controls.

Funny. I prefer LEGO Marvel's flying controls better just for the fact that ascending/descending are controlled by the camera even though I 100%ed it without knowing that until just before completing LEGO Batman 3. Having to hold the jump button to move when flying's just doesn't seem right

Seriously? I may have to go back to LEGO Marvel and try to 100% it. Thanks for posting about it! Would've been nice if they mentioned the alternate controls at any point instead of just the awkward button-based scheme I kept failing at. I just started Batman 3, so at least I can try it in that.

To try to keep this slightly on topic, the controls in LEGO Batman 2 still feel more natural to me -- moving around the screen with the left stick and gas/brake/honk with the buttons is the same way the cars are controlled.

In vehicles, yes. But it's awkward with flying characters
