Find your LEGO Batman 2 folder - should be located here - \AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Batman 2
Easy way to get there is to type %Appdata% in the windows search bar.
Now when you get to that folder, delete (or move) all the files inside it (make sure the game is not running) then launch it and tell me what happens.
Doing this should reset it with default settings, creating new ones when you launch the game.
If that does not work, we'll try testing a new config - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BztlfU002uSCYllBVVBBMWlaamM/ place that in your LEGO Batman 2 folder, if it works let me know and I'll update it to make it more playable for your config.
When clicking to start the game, it pops up with the message' Preparing to launch Batman 2'. That disappears, then comes right back. It does this repeatedly, but never loads the game.
I've tried verifying the local files and completely reinstalled the game, but still get the same problem.
I also tested both suggestions from goku above, but no joy.
This is very odd as the game has worked many times before now.
*Edit* And just as mysteriously, it's now working again after a restart of Steam - which I had already tried as a possible fix earlier.
It worked for me, so it will MOST LIKELY work for you aswell.
"Right Click LEGO Batman 2 < Click ''Properties'' < Click On ''Local Files'' < Then Browse Local Files < Open The ''Support'' Folder < Click On DirectX < Scroll a Bit Until You Find ''DXSETUP'' and Click On It."
I've been trying at least twenty tutorials all day, and this was the only one that worked for me. Thanks.
Thanks bro that worked for me. Guys this really should solve the problem!
