i wonder if there's some way to allocate more ram to the game's process
that, and usually running out of memory causes every other thing on the system to slow down a ton, which is not happening in this case
I tried a different monitor, the error is gone and it finally runs normally.
thanks for the reply! i should be getting a new monitor soon and ill say if it works then
Go to:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\RabbitSteel\SaveFileNonSynced
Open "config.ini" in notepad and change lowQualitySprites="0.000000" to lowQualitySprites="1.000000".
Also, in the most recent patch, I changed how sprites are loaded in; instead of loading all the sprites for a stage at once, it only loads the ones for the current and next boss you fight. So it should be a bit lighter on RAM, even without enabling low quality sprites.
frankly i still can't wrap my head around how this was a ram thing since the game seems like it'd be really light on that but really what do i know
ill edit my original post to include the solution, thanks for the help!
