Can anyone clarify wether or not the 'Golden Floof Ball' also count as a perfect floof ball for the hard no hit trinket unlock?

Please do not tell me what I unlock by doing that challenge. I wish to discover myself what lies behind the challenge I just wonder wether or not I can use either floof ball or must it be the regular one.

Pretty sure you gotta use the upgraded one. The quest even says to do it
