best solo class

in your opinion, are any classes especially well-suited for solo runs?

I've had great success with Dancer and Bruiser, especially with the correct skill upgrades. I find both let you do max dps easily while focusing on the mechanics.

To add to my Druid recomendation before: Druid suffers a LOT on any boss that moves frequenty, you will be doing around half or less damage.

Bruiser is actually broken. I cleared a hard solo run with 100% iframe uptime and 1k9 dps on the last boss yesterday by just holding the Y and X buttons for the entire fight.
Otherwise I recommend anything ranged or with very long horizontal reach, due to some bosses not allowing you enough melee uptime to comfortably pass DPS checks in hard and lunar.
For instance, it is almost impossible to beat the hard patrol rats in earlygame with assassin, because you don't have the horizontal range to hit both bosses during half of the fight.
