Dragon boss far harder than the other four?

I feel like I have barely any time to identify the safe zone for an attack that has four separate mechanics going off all at once.
Is anyone else struggling to get their first kill on this thing?

The off centered spinning lasers are the worst.
Also I found a typo in her dialog, when she's starting she says "Your no match for my royal form!" My what is no match? :v Fixed with a patch already, wow!

My thoughts exactly too, you barely have enough time to identify where to go, then the boss pushes you and sometimes even knowing where to go you don't have time enough to get there. At the very least I think the push is a bit overkill...

yeah, i found myself abusing pause buffering several times when clearing it solo to read the spinning attacks. it almost feels like you're just meant to run the boss multiple times until you get enough memorized to make split-second identifications of the safe zone

This is incredibly early into the games life cycle so it's completely possible we just need to get used to the pattern, and I've managed to finagle my way past her (on normal) by only getting hit during those spinny laser segments, but she does feel a tad harder than the others on the same difficulty. Definitely scared to try and learn this fight on hard later on, haha.

They can be challenging to read, but it is also kinda the main mechanic of all the dragon fights - 'Find the Safe Spot/Lasers' just like the others have their own theme (Crow:Teleport/Order of Operations, Frog:Match Colors/Dancing, Wolf:Reaction Time/Turbulent Winds, Mouse:Tethers/Ping-Pong Orbs

I have to agree that the dragon boss is not only harder than the other routes but even harder than the final boss. It's disproportional, honestly. She just has so much going on and a lot of it is simply taking control away from you. Every time I've died on Normal it's been to her, much less on Hard. I don't much care for it.

The dragon boss is the hardest in the game, once I figured out how to beat it in lunar I cleared lunar with every character without failure. Horrible design.
On the flipside the final boss is a complete joke where some hard mode bosses are harder to do.

There is the fact, as well, that the fight take a very long time because once in phase 2 she's like not on screen (can't take damage) like 40% of the time, even the mouse don't get this much damage imunity
