Expanded Practice Dummy
For starters, as someone who loves FF14 and dislikes bullet hell games, I am thoroughly enjoying this game. I'm quite accustomed to many of these types of patterns and mechanics so it's refreshing to see in a genre I otherwise avoid due to the nonsensical bullets flying all over the screen as one would typically see.

My suggestion can be added at a way later date. I fully agree with the design philosophy of players going in and experimenting with what they get. At some future point though it would be nice if we could practice on the target dummy with the upgraded abilities + loot. Me and a friend already found some quite hilariously broken scenarios that we wanted to see if there was a way to break further, but alas we died and didn't have much luck finding that loot item again. I understand this would encourage minmaxing and increase the competitive nature of the game however. Plus, it may lead to erroneous data of what's actually broken, since the RNG nature of the game prevents people from being able to obtain these perfect builds together. But I'd like it down the line as I think it would help players better understand the damage values and see what works well together, without having to constantly jump in and repeat so many times. With so many different combinations, it could take quite a lot of time to go through and eventually people will just post guides and rankings for the gemstones and loot per character. I already have a spreadsheet going for Dancer of combinations that work great for her.

Anyways, keep up the good work! I hope to see more updates, regardless of any kind, in the future. It's a great game and a nice break for us FF14 players. Especially those of us who no longer have a static to play with for Savage content

This is definitely on the todo list; I'm thinking a "toybox" mode where you have free reign of items and upgrades, as long as you've won at least 1 run with them.
Don't have a date on that (depends on when I finish fixing bugs) but it'll probably be among the first things I add.

Neat to know it is coming, but making it stuff you've won with limits at least the reason I would use such a thing (off the top of my head). My first thought for something like this was confirming an interaction. For example I was unsure how starry cloak and timemage would work together. I was lucky to get them together back to back so the curiosity didn't last long, but something like that to sate my curiosity would be nice. I assume you have a reason my exhausted brain can't comprehend though. Just adding my own thoughts/reasoning why I personally would want such a thing. I've wondered already on a few interactions I've been unable to test due to not getting stuff that would confirm/deny my thoughts with said item. I'm not one to theory craft or min/max myself. Well unless something peaks my interest as 'funny'.

Sorry for the much texto
