You can unlock most things just from Normal or even Cute mode; almost every unlock has a threshold of boss kills at any difficulty for it to unlock. For instance, you can unlock one of the classes by beating 8 bosses on any difficulty.
But nothing for character builds prior to starting a run.
Which of course is fine.
Mainly asking because grinding out gear and leveling is part of why I like MMOs, on top of fights with raid mechanics.
But then I'm not playing on the difficulty I find most fun. Wouldn't it be better to allow upgrades to be unlocked via a number of bosses instead of just area bosses? Even if it's 2x the amount or 3x.
Are you sure? I'm 100% certain that I killed more than 7 bosses as I've attempted the dragon boss like 15~20 times now, but the game says I only killed 7 bosses so far.
I assume at the current time some enemies just aren't counted. I've done multiple runs with my friends on normal difficulty that passed through 2 or 3 areas including one finished run and it says that we've only killed 6 bosses so far.
