PS4 controller not working

Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question, but is there any option that i have to change for my ps4 controller to work? I have 2 of them and both did not register any input. I tried the config.ini thing and nothing. And yes, i tested in other games (Elden Ring and FFXIV) to be sure they are working fine.

My DS4 works just fine, though i did connect it with a USB cable, and not via Bluetooth.

If you plugged in the controller after starting the game, maybe try resetting the game and see if that fixes it!

I did try that too, i forgot to say that the game recognized the controller but no input worked. What i did was changing my bluetooth adapter to one that reads the controller as if it's a xbox controller and somehow everything was working fine.

Is there a way to change the prompt shown ingame for the PS4 while using a xbox controler?

I have the same issue. Without a 3rd party tool my PS4 controlelr doesn't seem to work.
I'm using a cable.

What worked for me was opening the game in big picture mode, as well as enabling steam input or whatever its called before you open the game! Hope you find a fix
