Solo tuning?
It's definitely a lot to ask but I've been really trying to learn solo no-hit on Hard and I've been coming across a lot of DPS-check issues using assassin. This became especially apparent to me when I began practicing Churchmouse Streets. Even with some ideal items, it seems you still barely clear before the enrage mechanics on some bosses - a problem that's especially exacerbated by the over-reliance on backstabs for optimal damage output when various bosses tend to contain you in areas while they stand outside.

I was wondering if maybe in the future we might see some boss HP adjustments per class in solo mode or other forms of difficulty tuning. It's a bit of a bummer that I may just need to switch to an easier class not because I can't perform the required mechanics but because I genuinely cannot dish out high enough numbers.

Also while I'm here, someone recommend me another solo class to try learning.

The only fight you'll struggle with enrage on in hard as assassin is churchmouse because of how the adds spread around. It's unfortunate but having an item that applies X to all enemies helps, even though that's not real advice to give when an item like that is pure luck to happen upon.

if only solo has reroll feature, this game would have been better

IMO churchmouse is overtuned even on normal, I think Mino is heavily underestimating how disruptive damage tethers are to the dps of a lot of characters. Assassin is also super item reliant where a bad assassin build is misery but a good build cracks the game in half.

Tethers and Teleports on characters without reliable gapclose is pretty rough especially without rerolls in shop

Blows my mind just how oversaturated the selection usually is with unuseable or outright bad upgrades/items without a reroll: here have a shop full of things that break your build or how about a 2/3 selection of items that slow your movement moderately on a already slow class.

Oh man, don't even get me started on the reduce movement speed items. They are a literal death sentence on hard or higher. I wish I could just delete that set from the game so it'd stop showing up.

Aww. Some of the most fun I've had were with the ones that significantly reduce movement speed.

What difficulty were you playing on?

I find it hard to believe tbh, I can barely do some mechanics with normal speed, with lowered speed you have to at the very least have something to reset the cd of your defensive.

Nah bro, he can do the incredibly tight window mechanics with negative movementspeed stacks. Always in perfect position, never late and always impeccable execution.

None of us mortals can compare to his understanding of the game and should be in awe of his skill. No cap.

I like how no-one wants to ask 'why' they had fun for some reason lol. I'd like to hear their POV instead of dogpiling the guy.

Has Mino said anything about the suggestions of people? It seems to be a repeating topic here.

Honestly I feel melee characters have it the roughest, considering there's no stuff like leashing and tanking, so you have to chase the wild goose and pray it doesn't do a mechanic that will force you to spread... Again. We have a similar problem in FFXIV that mostly affects immobile casters, but it can be mitigated by healers or a Warrior.

I mean, I never claimed to be a god at the game. I just found it hilarious to use the Rockdragon Mail and crawl around the arena slower than my co-op partner. We were having fun seeing just how many things we could do at snail speed. We were already laughing during that run because I was playing a caster instead of my usual Assassin/Bruiser, and joking about how slow they move, and then we got an absolutely terrible set of loot with that in it. At that point, it was just "This is a horrible idea, but screw it dude. Let's be reallllll slow. These other options literally destroy my build."

We managed to clear. It was hilariously bad, and the invuln saved me from my own stupidity a few times, but it's still one of my favorite runs, just because of how absolutely idiotic it was, especially post battle, where my buddy would just be sitting there waiting for me to cross the screen.

That's fair, but the person I was responding to just wanted them deleted from the game, which would make me sad in co-op.
