Soft locked out of making money

I have only been able to make money through the gelato store, and its a small amount made everyday.

I was able to play the restaurant mini game once but now every time I go back Mamma Lucia says that she is busy and that i need to come back later.

Does anyone know how to progress without torturing myself? Thanks!

update: i started a new save and was able to progress, not sure what happened.

Have you slept? So far I can do two rounds of the restaurant mini game per day. But I am still on day two, so I have only done 4 rounds.

I have slept many times, I have lost track of what day it is. Both Mama Lucia and the post office refuse to open for me. I think what I have to do is progress with Paun’s quest line and all I have left is to make coffee, which is 2,000 L total. I’m honestly just trying everything I can to make the game register that it’s a new day.

You should have also other quests than making coffee for Paun, as I think you need to get further on those for them to open up again.

BTW I used the gelato store to make most of my money. Don't forget to buy the upgrades in that store, that doesn't come out of your pocket but increases how much you make from that "task"

So far i have progressed the vispa quest until i need 2500L. Ive also done the boat rental quest up to when i have to go to the post office but it remains closed.

i have gotten 3 upgrades for the gelato store but it hasnt impacted my daily gains. Which upgrades would increase my amount earned?

Have you delivered mail for the post office? They should give you 5 packages that show up on the far-right green quest tab, and you get 1,000L per package delivered. Not sure how repeatable it is, but I have gotten ~15 packages from there so far.

Not sure why Mama Lucia would be locked out for you unless you somehow haven't advanced "To Catch A Thief" enough to get her "robbery investigation" questline...

The same thing happened to me. On day 2 I went to sleep and it did the fortune teller cutscene again like I had never met her. Now the post office is closed every day so I can't get a boat license and I can't do money making quests.

I guess I have to start all over from the beginning after getting seven hours in. I just wish I knew what I did to trigger this glitch so that it doesn't happen again.
