How come MGS4 isn't included

Did I overlook it's mention, How come every NES game and 1-3 are included but not MGS4

given how mgs4 has only ever been on ps3 and was designed for it's crap architecture it'll take a lot longer to port but yea vol 2 should have that along with at least portable ops and peace walker

I would make MGS4 is much harder to port to the PC because of the weirdness of the PS3 hardware

As happy as I am for these releases and hope for the rest to come, I do wonder if Kojima is seeing any kickback at all from it.. I sincerely hope so.

Acid 1 and 2 can stay on the PSP. I'd take portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus over the Acid games.

Why would he? He got paid while he was on the clock. I assume he got bonuses upon the games sales and that's it. It's Konami's property for all other purposes including re-releasing it many years after the fact. He worked on the HD collection so he got paid for that. He didn't work on the Nvidia Shield port so he didn't get paid for that. He didn't work on this collection so he did not get paid for this.

Konami completely threw him under the bus. MGS is one of the few examples where Konami owns the franchise rights and controls what he gets, that's why the MGS will be forever nothing but remakes and remasters.

Probably going to take more work, PS3 to PC in infamously difficult. Sure they can "get it working" but these games presentation is important. Also there may be more copyright issues with it being so heavily tied with Sony at the time of its launch compared to the other titles.

That's not the biggest issue with 4 honestly (4 can run on the PSNow pc app just fine so it isn't affected by the PS3 itself). The biggest issue with 4 is all the product placement in it including it in cutscenes. Editing cutscenes isn't exactly the easiest thing there is.
