i do have a controller, but literally why, it was never meant for a controller in the first place.

Games on old 8-bit computers usually expected you to use a controller though.

If I am not mistaken, this is the mobile/console ports that were designed with controllers in mind and other QoL features. But if people really REALLY need to play this on keyboard (no idea why) they can just emulate a poor fan translation rom on MSX emulators.

Like I need to know, why do people start yelling when a game built around console controls don't support K/M on PC? If you don't have a controller I'd understand, but what PC gamer doesn't have a controller these days? When did it happen that all PC games MUST be built around mouse and keyboard when ported?

It just comes off as really petty to ♥♥♥♥ on a game they weren't going to play in the first place. Also PC elitist syndrome, kinda like how people with small ♥♥♥♥♥ drive big pickup trucks xD

And I know the MSX used it's own weird keyboard, but again, like I said this is a port of a console port that was an updated port from the MSX to run on modern consoles at the time.

yeah i am. i only have a gravis joypad as a controller and a motorola startac for my phone sorry its the best i can do

No, this game actually was designed to play with the keyboard. You'd know if you had played the original on MSX2.

Smells just laziness. If keyboard support was included, then they would need to add support for remapping and that all would take at least a week to implement and test for a competent programmer.

lol imagine playing a game on an msx2 that happens to not have a controller and then thinking that your lack of a controller means the game doesn't support one. lol the best part is how cocky Jarnis was about playing one on a real msx2 and he didn't know that msx controllers exist. hahahahaha

Psycho Mantis can't make a keyboard vibrate. Also this series was born and raised on controller based platforms.
