None of the game in the collection crashed for me so it's related to your PC.
Eh maybe but if a company is going to remaster a game you would expect it to be the best version of the game rather than a cut down cash grab that is inferior to the copy that was released 20 years ago.
The original HD version didn't have Monkey or Theatre. However, it did have ports of MG1 & MG2. Those games were put in their own separate package. (They are $20 but if you buy the whole collection they're free. BS but what can you do)
Also, look into the Crouch walking mod if you want to feel justified for the purchase.
It's not a remaster thus you have proved my point:
When re-releasing a game the goal should be to make it better, not to release a half baked chopped down version that is worse than the original.
MGS3 never came on PC.
As I've said you should really do some research because right now you are speaking without knowing and it's pretty obvious, so you are mad because you bought something without doing your own research (you wanted MGS3 subsistence) then you complain because it's a remaster with less content than Subsistence version (and It's not a remaster, because you didn't do any research at all) and now you talk about re-releasing a game that never was released on PC (we are on MGS3 forum).
GOG version of MGS1 is different and doesn't include some stuff the collection have so you would be also wrong here.
MGS2 PC version is mostly the same aside some bugs IIRC.
Just accept the fact that you can only blame yourself for not doing your own research.
Konami never lied about this being a remaster, it's called "METAL GEAR SOLID 3: Snake Eater - Master Collection Version" not "METAL GEAR SOLID 3: Subsistence - Remaster Collection Version".
So in the futur do some research because you got what you have paid for here.
As well as research, could've looked through this forum and found a ton of threads with the same subject matter...
