Stuck on rank screen

cant exit the ending rank screen unless i fully exit out of the game. have tried pressing f and LM, doesnt work.

ever sicne i installed mgs3hdfix i havent been able to access the launcher. i turned "skip launcher" on, then off later on, but when "skip launcher" is off it just...doesn't open.
TLDR cant access launcher

Nevermind, i got MGS3 working again.
I was bein a moron and installed MGS3HDFIX AGAIN after deleting the two files (and every other file relating to the HDFIX mod), and that caused the black screen. Deleted the two files you told me to AGAIN, and now everything's fine, no more black screen.

This will most likely outright fix your blackscreening issues in that case.
(Yes, this does apply to desktops, not just laptops.)

As for the rank screen, some folks have reported changing the Internal Resolution setting to one of the higher settings has fixed the issue for them.

I've tried that before, but I'm close to finishing my nonlethal/hard playthrough, so I'll try it then
