The End Camo

I went to get the special camo from The End, I held him up every single time I got him, used the tranq gun as well, but still didn't get the special camo or the achievement for holding him. I held him up about 20 times because he ran to an area and nearly recovered full stamina, so I had to do it many many times, yet no camo or achievement. Is the game just that bugged, or am I missing something about what "hold him up" means? Because just like in the old days, he puts his hands up, lays on the ground, says a line, and then just lays there until you pop him. Yet, still no achievement or camo...

you need to hold him up and when he lies down you need to aim at his head about 2 times to make him wiggle...he then drops it

Try to make sure you aren't near an area transition as the camo can be lost if The End drops it near or while transitioning between zones.

This is the correct answer. It's 3 times. He'll say "I don't think so" the first two times, then he'll drop the camo the third time.
Then you continue the fight. You don't get it for beating him non-lethally. I think your reward for that is the non-lethal sniper rifle

I got the non lethal sniper rifle, but I never got his responses. I made sure to aim at his head each time, and he was on the ground for at least 8 seconds each time before I made my shot. I couple times I waited about 10 seconds. But he would just lay there shaking. He would make other comments, but nothing like that. I was playing the Japanese version, so maybe they translated it differently it is what he was supposed to say in the English equivalent, but he never ended up dropping the camo. I got as close to him as I could and aimed for the head every time. Not too sure where it went wrong.
