No CQC Grab MGS3

IDK what happened to the game but holding B does not allow me to grab an enemy CQC style and slam or choke hold. When holding B Snake does the default three hit combo. Now im stuck on Volgin because the game does not allow me to CQC grab him I just punch and then get my leg sweeped.

Isn't it the fire button? I'm assuming you're using an xbox controller, so that'd be X.

I've just checked: I have a controller that have XBOX patterns so It's the B button, on playstation that's O.

I can do the CQC hold and throw just fine, with a weapon that have the CQC icon & nothing in hand, if you hold a grenade or something you can't grab.

Be sure that you don't have an auto-fire mode ON for B/O.

Are you using mods ?

CQC Throws work perfectly fine for me, I'm also on an Xbox controller. To do it, you have to be moving toward the enemy and HOLD the CQC button (B on Xbox, Circle on PlayStation).

Make sure you either don't have a weapon equipped or are using a weapon that has the red "CQC" lettering at the bottom-left of the weapon window.

Did you change controller settings with Steam Input? Maybe "Hold to Repeat" somehow got enabled on your controller/B button?
