Wow, so instead of fixing the game they're making it worse? Jeez, when you think that you've seen everything...
- Playing on steam deck ?
- Have you used mods ?
- Do you use an NVIDIA card ?
i am playing in a msi laptop without mods with a Nvidia RTX 3050Ti
How do you know if people own the game or not? Wasn't the collection released for consoles too?
Hmmmm not a very common issue, usualy people get a faster game not a slower game after some time, so you can try the beta patch version or you can try to find something here:

Maybe changing to windowed mode and other mode would fix your issue (try ALT +ENTER), otherwise check if your NVIDIA card is up to date (mine wasn't today, causing bugs in mulitple games, well only crashes) and check if your NVIDIA card is limited to 60 FPS for MGS3.
One last thing I can think of is checking if the game use your processor correctly, I forgot how to do so.
I have tryed everything it seems like a fps problem because it lows to 10 but it makes no sense because a week ago was running perfectly and other games run well too, thanks for the info tho
That's why it's so weird, according to the news section last update was like 12 days ago so I wonder what changed to cause such issue, unless you had some RAM die that would be one way to explain the issue but if other standard game have no issues then..........
Well asking in the mod page may give us some cluess or a fix, maybe a modder will be able to pinpoint if it's from the game or something else, have you verified the game cache ? I doubt that it will fix it but you never know.
nope i tryed some mods but nothing worked out and everything is just normal. I was having hopes with the update today but it is the same...
Since the games don't have a v-sync option, you have to enable it on your gpu settings. Did you try that already?
thanks man it was it, I completed mgs3 months ago but now i was having the exact same problem with mgs2 and this worked thankss
