This worked out! I dindt know this was a thing. While running the game and delete the save game. and then close the game, it will sync back to the save cloud!
Thanks!
Just simple delete the savegame while running a game enabled Steam Save Cloud, and delete the save, this ^, the proces to sync it BACK TO the savecloud nobody has a good solution for this how to pull of. So super duper thanks!
Buddy, im testing this methode for the game Total War: ATTILA, the cloud save game is being located on disk: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\40605777\325610\remote\XXX.save
325610 = GameID Atilla,
But when Im deleting this save while running the game and close it, its synching back to Cloudsave, but when starting the game up, it syncs from Cloud save back to this direcotry and have the save game file there... So its not working for any game its seems to be...
How do you think about this? Or is it somewhere else a other file being located?
Because in the game Atilla, on the Cloud Save, in-game there is button to delete the save from the Cloud save, and when deleting it in-game, and mannually put the save back to the folder that is being located, and hit the game, the game doesn't see the save anymore... So im wondering there must be other directory's or game locations locaally located.
If its unclear let me know, I will explain it again.
Hi @WhiteExperience,
Its me again, could you tell me if this still works on other titles (cloudsaves games) Because not all cloudsavegames are located in the %APPDATA%, so what is your approach how to deal with that? Tell me in detailed please.
Yes, it works for all games, I'd recommend you to use https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Home to check where the save file is located for each game. It could be in AppData, the Steam folder, My Documents or even somewhere else.
