How do you do a hard stab with the knife?

I've learned how to stop aiming the pistol and how to slit throats of guards on my Xbox controller... but how do I do the hard stab with a knife? On PS2 and PS3, if you pressed square repeatedly, you would do slash attacks, and by giving the button one hard press, you could stab enemies. How do you do this on an Xbox controller?

EDIT: for the record, to stop aiming the pistol, you have to press the left stick. To slit a guard's throat while CQC-holding them, you press Y (or triangle if you're maybe on DS4/Dual Sense, I suppose).

I don't think Konami mapped for the Xbox controller, only Playstation.

I've tried, it's L3 as i suspected, just wanted to confirm it.

Thank you guys, for some reason I hadn't thought of trying L3/LS. It also says it right there in the knife's description as you hold R2/RT with the knife selected.

While the game do tell you if you have played the OG version you'd think that you know how the controls work, I did that mistake then I checked because I was like "da hell how do I stab
that mushroom ?" so I tried L3 since that was the new aiming and it worked, so while it's not a secret it's not that obvious too.
