How to run it on GPU?
Works only if I set it to run on CPU (Integrated Graphics).
And it doesn't run well at all.
Anyone knows how to run in to GPU without crashing?
Tried doing it in Nvidia Panel, opens for 1 sec in a white screen and crashes.

Hey Dude, how should I put my GPU in the file?

Just copy the name that shows up in the render tab of dxdiag, like this[i.imgur.com]

Is that your GPU? I have a laptop with the same one, but when I do this and try to launch the game it doesn't do anything. It doesn't even give any errors or launch the game at all.

Yep, i'm on a i5 7200u 940MX, if you have the same specs the game should run fine.
Update the drivers on the gpu and see if that helps or you can try to use an older version of dxvk [github.com]. Just download it and open with 7zip, then extract all of the x64 dlls in the mgs3 folder.

Thanks for the help, but it just doesn't work for me for some reason. Without it it crashes, but with it just doesn't do anything. I'll wait for an update and play MGS1 for now, at least that one works.

Thank you very much! Now I have 60 FPS and not 20 like before + slow motion.
Also, interesting to see we share the same specs, I also have the i5 7200U and a 940MX =))

If you have Nvidia, open Nvidia Control Panel, then Program Settings, select the program you want to customize, search for Metal Gear Solid 3 and then select which preferred Graphic processor.

Dahek does ggs mean?

i've tried using this fix but when i did the game would no longer even launch. Supposedly this disconnected it form Direct X11.
