MGS1 - PS1 emulator (forgot which, it was a long time ago)
MGS2 - PC port with "V's fix"
MGS3 - Xenia (it's X360 emulator, runs really well, no BS with pressure sensetive buttons like on PCSX2/RPCS3. Downside is you need to stay at 720p resolution or you will get broken cutscenes if you try to get above like 1080p or 1440p, but I find 720p + in-built FSR to be pretty good looking, you need to tinker with it to get best result.)
MGS4 - RPCS3 (requires a beefy CPU, I completed it just fine with Ryzen 5600X on CipherXOF build of the emulator in 1440p resolution, GPU don't really matters, first run was on RX580 8GB, then I switched to 3060 Ti and saw almost no difference with same settings. Game don't use pressure sensitive buttons as much as MGS2-3 and it's fully playable on more modern controller like DS4, DualSense or even Xbox Controller)
Didn't played PC port yet, but forced 720p is a big oof, at least on Xenia you have things like FXAA and FSR to get more smooth visuals. This "collection" isn't worthy of 50$.
Can run at any res you want, keeps a solid 60 FPS on my 3080 at 1440p and looks great. MGS 4 even runs amazingly well.
Do you also want to play on PC? PS2 emulation.
Do you want to play in widescreen? PS3 emulation.
Do you not want to use pressure sensitive buttons, xbox 360 version on any xbox compatible with it
Do you want to play on PC? Then this version.
Do you not want to play on PC, then any of the other versions.
But for now I'm gonna give the 360 version a go. I'm reading year old threads saying it has graphics and audio issues though so idk.
