THIS IS THE PS3 2011 EDITION!
The master collection is the ps3 collection from 2011 just
without peace walker, so they swapped peace walker for mgs 1 ps1 version.
and there is proof of this because the main menu in the collection says 2011, just like the ps3 version.
and it's the same background animations.

at 15:00 is the proof.

But just to be clear konami never promised us anything better
so we kinda got what they promoted.

but i think i'm gonna stick to my ps3 collection instead i have no need in buying this 2 times.

It's actually the Xbox version that removes the pressure sensitive button features

i also wanna note that if mgs 1 feels slow to you
it's because they used the 50hz pal ps1 version
so for all Americans in here who are used to the 60hz ntsc
you will feel this big time!
but for people in europe this is normal.

well you are not very informed then as both MGS1 and 2 are on PC with official ports that have existed since release for both games. The only game missing an official PC port is MGS3

No modern controller has Pressure Sensitive Face Buttons so this was the best choice

When this use to be available on PS Now on PS4, the game was completely broken because of the Dualshock 4’s lack of pressure sensitive buttons.

Yeah Europe got the PAL version, play MGS integral it got the voice in english (and you already know the story) if you want the NTSC version.

The games included in the Master Collection are nothing more and nothing less than ports of the HD Collection made by Bluepoint Games in 2011.
They didn't even correct the spelling errors in the HD Collection.
They didn't even bother removing the logo from the loading screen!

It literally says on their website that Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 are the "HD Collection" versions. This should not be news to anyone. It's not like they're trying to hide it.

Also the cut scene when naked snake meets ocelot for the first time
there is still a huge bug in that fight when snake does CQC on the enemie his arm goes trough the characters throat.
