Game crashes before launching

As soon as I launch the game after the first menu it loads for a bit then crashes, anyone else experiencing the same?

in my case, i launch the game, it works fine. then when I choose to play MGS3 it loads another thing(I imagine it's emulating) and it takes a while or a black screen. So it's roullete. I've not played yet, just testing.

yea I just downloaded the first MGS to check if it was an issue across all the games and it loaded with no issue so I have no idea

I imagine the emulation from the first one is different.
My only way to fix it, was to restart the game.

yea im checking MGS 2 now to get a better idea whats going on, restarting MGS3 and running it as an admin both didnt work

I had the same problem, but by updating the NVIDIA GeForce Experience, it is now possible to play!

The only one working for me is MGS1, all the other ones crash after launching them form their launchers.

There is. The game crashes if u run it on the GPU.
Go to Nvidia Control Panel and set it to run on CPU (Integrated Graphics).

how can I do this? iI have downloaded the games but can't open either 2 or 3 "the games itself, menus of the master collection work just fine.

i've looked it up loads to try an figure out how to do this but all of the ways of doing it dont work for me
