Here for example is everything that was wrong in 2011s HD Collection of MGS3:
- Alert state change load glitch (X360 version)
- Bike chase crash glitch
- Certain visual effects are reduced to the point where they are seemingly missing such as depth of field and rain (Some fixed in Master Collection)
https://twitter.com/naven0m/status/1716209978137059339
- Cigar flickers when running
- FPV Analog Acceleration (X360 version)
- Low resolution splitter face paint
- MiG-21 radar display sweeping the wrong direction in Operation Snake Eater intro
- Pause/delay for changing camouflage, the cure menu etc. (Fixed in Master Collection)
- Smoke and particle effects running at double speed
- The Fury does things like attacking the wrong way and using his abilities during hitstun. Also at higher framerates a much larger amount of fire can persist on the ground which can be be especially seen on xbox series x/s since the game runs at a stable 60fps (Tied to framerate)
- The Snake Eater song in the beginning is out of sync due to the removal of the ambient noise that normally plays when "Konami Entertertainment Presents" is onscreen (Fixed in Master Collection)
- The Pain's bullet bee will not hit Snake in first person view, because of the game running at 60fps (Tied to framerate)
I think that one is caused by the higher rendering resolution, the same issues appear when emulating the PS2 version with increased internal resolutions, and also affects MGS2.
