Why MGSV again? The Nintendo Switch.
I would love for Portable Ops to be included as well, but I am not holding my breath. Maybe as a bonus like how Snakes Revenge/ MG1 NES is included this time.
That would be 6-7 games similiar to the 7 games included in Vol. 1 with Metal Gear, Metal Gear NES, Snakes Revenge, Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid (including VR Missions), Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.
Metal Gear Rising is likely, because it isn`t available on NS, PS4/PS5 and only backwards compatible on xbox series x/s and they could port the pc version which runs at 1080p instead of 720p and also added things like the option to re-watch cutscenes and play codec calls, option to just do boss battles and the ability to modify the amount of cuts the player can make during gameplay. On steam they could just include the current version in a Vol. 2 bundle, and give owners a discount.
They are likely going in release order with what they include with the exception being Ghost Babel which is likely included in Vol. 2 instead of Vol. 1, because it is a portable game and was directed by the same person behind Acid 1+2.
I personally think they will put portable ops because there is a reference to it like if it was a canon game in mgs4 and I also find this on the Wikipedia page of portable ops: "Kojima also claimed that MPO was a necessary component to the story of MGS4, to the extent that he refused to finalize the story for MGS4 until after the story for MPO was finalized"
Even if later he changed his mind MPO still have a lot of interesting things like Big boss saying no to America for the 1st time when CIA told him to go in the chooper, relation with Grey Fox and Gene giving the idea and money for outer heaven (I know peace Walker acts like he didn't get the money but I believe Big Boss refused to use his money but then later changed his mind and used it for Zanzibar after ground zeros)
A HIDEO KONAMI GAME.
I don't think it will be that hard because the reason why it was only on the ps3 was because of the fact the xbox 360 didn't have a blueray disk reader and blueray have more memory mgs4 runed well on the 360 but it needed multiple disk because a regular DVD disk only stored 8.3gb a bluray 54gb which means 7 disks would have been neded to run the game.

So unless there is something i am unaware it will very likely be on the next collection
Yes but that version is likely lost media now, they would only have the PS3 version and that is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ to work with. We can only hope Konami would take the effort to properly port it instead of forgetting about the only game that is inaccessible (without really PS3 emulation which can be a nightmare)
