Vamp boss fight bug for mgs2

I got to vamp in mgs2, i start the fight and he gets on the railing how he should but when he does he just stands on top of the railing he doesn’t move and when i shoot him he doesn’t take any damage. The music is still playing and i can still jump in the water and die.

UPDATE!!!

Apparently ive solved it. So i was playing using the MGS FPS unlocker and set the target framerate to 30 fps cause 60 fps would result in a slow motion gameplay. So, just set the target back to 60 fps and you're good
