mgs 2 achievements

so i took a look at the hd collection achievements for metal gear solid 2 and i am a little disappointed with how un-creative and unimaginative they are.

there isn't even a difficulty achievement nor do you get an achievement for every individual bonus item you unlock =(

it's just beat the content (mostly) and get all dog tags. hopefully they change things up for the steam release.

which achievements would you like to see added or removed?

my suggestions would be:

I. add:

1. Clean Hands - finish the game without killing anyone

2. More Then Solid - complete the game on (at least) hard difficulty

3. Is it so hard to believe? - complete the game on european extreme difficulty

4. The Guardian - help E.E. cross the oil fence without her receiving any dmg

5. Born to Hula - find all moai statues

6. then something cheeky for every bonus item you unlock by getting the right amount of dog tags - stealth camo on the tanker could be named: "not busted anymore" or something along those lines

II. remove: (if they really just go with the hd collection achievements)

1. Don't Taze Me, Bro
Tranquilize 100 enemies

2. Nothing Personal
Break the neck of 30 enemies

3. Rent Money
Beat 30 enemies unconscious

Get all dog tags means that you have to beat the game on multiple difficulty settings.

Doesn't include E E I believe.

to get achievements, you have to play the game.

where? my list contains both achievement lists, mgs 2 and 3. just quote it in here.

i was wondering where you are. as far as i can tell it's an mgs 3 cheevo. as i stated above, the list contains achievements for both games.

maybe i should clarify: i post this thread in the mgs 2 forum because i am talking exclusively about mgs 2 achievements here.

MGS2 and MGS3 were given a single, combined list for Xbox 360, for whatever reason. The PlayStation 3 trophy set was a bit more thorough, and will likely be more reflective of what to expect here (though, there are five more Steam achievements than there were trophies).

You cannot get all dog tags without finishing the game on the hardest difficulty. Does OP even know which game he's talking about ?!?

And no! Playing all 250+ VR missions is time consuming enough to get all achievements. No need for more hassle...

They removed Virtually Impossible - "Complete all VR and Alternative missions" and Great Dane - "Collect all dog tags", plus the obtaining orange and brown wigs.

Sure, completing all VR missions and obtaining All dog tags can be crazy difficult, but you need those achievements in there for the hard-core completionists.

An achievement for completing all Snake Tales too would have made sense.
