Disc read error mgs2?

I got an error while playing mgs2. shows a flashing CD with a ? in upper right corner. like a disc read error that you would see on ps2. anyone else have thise issue?

Same here, right after the E.E. section, where you got to deliver the disc.

Same LMFAO. I think it means that the console cannot read the disk properly. On a pc, right..............

I was laying with the MGSHD fix. But now i have desinstalled (the MGSHD fix) it and the error keeps popping up so---

Try verifying the game data in Steam.

i tryed 5 times till now, still no fix, and i didn´t modd it

Have you guys tried running it in Admin mode? Or maybe an anti-virus/firewall issue?

This issues feels like the game is having issues accessing the game files due to external source...

1) Does this fix work?
2) If it does, how do I do it? Tech stuff ain't my strongest suite.

Running on steam itself should boot all games launched by steam in admin mode.

Right click a given app or shortcut, in compatibility tab, open as Administrator should be one of the options. Steam will warn you that you're in compatibility mode, but admin helps it work better.

Dunno if that fixes it, but it's something extremely helpful to begin with

Sadly, it didn't fix it, for me anyway. Really wishing this gets fixed soon.
