Game displays Disc with question mark when i get to Emma after the sniping sequnce.

Its happened twice now where the game just, soft locks when i reach Emma after shes been stabbed. The first time was when i hit the load screen that leads to the cutscene, the second attempt it happened a few seconds after Snake, Otacon, and Emma came into view? is there anything i can do about this. or do I just keep throwing myself at this part until it decides to work?

Ive had no prior issues before this, and played through 3 with absolutely no issues.

hey i have the same problem but after going in the elevater when the cutscene will start

use something like https://pixeldrain.com/
the files should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MGS2\mgs2_savedata_win

I saw you say the same thing about an MGS1 progress blocking bug.

How exactly do you intend to do either of those things?

proceed a little bit then save then send the file back

That wouldn't help them next playthrough though.
Wouldn't it make more sense to help them attempt to actually fix it by walking em through verifying game files first?
The guy in the MGS1 thread can't be helped without you beating the game for them; that's not cool.

Yea I would definitely start with verifying game files on Steam.
I've seen various versions of this issue on both MGS1 & 2 and there was several times where it sounded like it might be a corrupted or missing cutscene file
