do you happen to know if they changed the controller layout for mgs1? i cannot access the weapon menu (r2)
as i pressed every button on my PS4 controller, no luck.
for what it's worth, my steam setting controller is selected just for ps4, 360, switch, are disabled.
haha ok
lmfaooooo this is what you have to do. i feel so stupid.
it is "i" on keyboard
Umm first:
This version doesn't support pressure sensitive controls at all.
Second:
Even if it did Steam Input does not know how to interpret pressure sensitive controls.
Third:
The Dualshock 3 was the last pressure sensitive controller.
Fourth:
Your aim only "always fires" with automatic weapons. Single Shot weapons like the USP or M9 do not fire while you are still holding the button so you can tap R2/RT to unequip before releasing and you will not fire. This is how I played the OG MGS2 PC port with Xbox controllers.
Fifth:
if you need to aim and not shoot an automatic you can just click L3/LS in this version.
(I unequip & re-equip the gun to lower it and not fire in that version. I still have the muscle memory form it when I play this one)
