Don't listen what that guy says. The whole collection work great, on PC you get to enjoy tons of mods but be careful that your PC have the specs needed.

It's a classic, yes, a classic that didn't receive the deserved respect from Konami. This is the worst version of the game to play, both GOG and Duckstation offer a superior experience.

I recently did a play through. It worked great. No issues that I noticed. But if you want higher resolution rendering, then I recommend emulating the PS1 version and adjusting the settings to you liking. You can see the difference in this side by side comparison from digital foundry (see 9:38 in the video).

i'm not gonna lie but MGS1 Master Collection is literally terrible port, DuckStation will give much much better experience. MGS2 and MGS3 tho they are great as for now.
