Its a shame though, because the german Dub is really good and the game had Red blood in its german Version on ps1 im 100% Sure.

Unfortunately, it is not a bug and there's no fix, yet.
It is a "new" censorship, that has never been there before. Neighter with the old German PSX nor with the PC version. It's only in the German Master Collection version...
I reported this issue to Konami in October 2023 and stated, that the original German versions had no blood censorship.

After long silence I contacted Konami again last month and they answered:
" Please note that whenever a game is re-released, the game is then rated again.

If you would like to receive further information regarding censorship in this title, we recommend that you reach out to the USK directly:

https://usk.de/en/the-usk/faqs/censorship/ "

Either they didn't understand what the problem is or they don't care.
But their answer was anything but helpful.

Konami answered you: "Please note that whenever a game is re-released, the game is then rated again." , meaning that if Germany want why blood then it's white bllod, China also had that censorship with the anime Chainsaw Man (making it worse because some character drink blood so imagine a female character with her mouth wide open and a stream of white liquid snake pouring into her mouth.......).

" Videogames are Art and blood is part of that Art. If we would ban every Art that shows blood then we would have to ban the Nibelungen Sage, the most german legend there is, with Siegfried bathing in the Blood of the slayed Dragon Fafnir."

Since that time i never seen any game getring censored, this whote blood thing is just prehistoric and their explanaition why they did it is outride a lie.

Btw, i played the Tomb Raider Remaster before this "remaster" amd its unvelivable how little effort Konami did for Metal gear solid compared to what saber did.

If Konami instead of inserting unneeded censoring used that time to rework textures, we could have Gottes us a real worthy remaster.

Helldivers 2 in germany is usk 16
Metal gear solid master Collection is usk 16 as well.

Helldivers 2 not just has Red blood it also Cuts off any limbs including the head if enemies attack u.

So their "it fot rated again" Statement is a pure lie.

My guess was that they used the wrong ROM and this a beta version of the german PSX build. I reported it to the german Konami Support in 2023. It makes no sense that this edit was made on purpose and the other games are left untouched. This probably is some weird bug.

That's wrong in this case.
Metal Gear Solid was released uncensored in Germany in 1998 and had an "age rating" for people of 12 years and older.
The Master Collection got an overall "age 16" rating, because it includes MGS Integral (was rated age 16 back than) and MGS 2 and 3 (also age 16 rating in the early 2000's).
And as you said, the non German language versions in the Master Collection of MGS are uncensored... even in Germany. That wouldn't be allowed, if the German rating organization would've requested censorship for rating and approving the release of the game in Germany.
I think it's as I said in my 1st post. Konami didn't understand the problem or they just don't care.
And trying to blame the German rating organization is a really poor excuse of them.

Totally understand the anger of the people and agree with most of them.
But before waiting for lazy Konami to react and correct the issue instead of playing the game: Play the US version of the collection (has better FPS anyway) or the German version if you can live with the cencorship or bad FPS and just want to enjoy the legendary voice acting :D (I can recommend it, it's just iconic).
Or grab the GOG version. It's not a console port, but the PC version. Runs without any patches or fixes, good FPS, uncensored and maybe people find a German language patch.

yeah i switched to the American version, its not that huge of a deal as i can speak and underastand english on a advanced level, but yes, the german dub was legendary, they really put a lot of effort into it, just compare the Arms Tech President Baker, in the Us version hes just a guy, but in the german version he uses such great words and has such a funny voice.

i think i have to play the game twice then... :D

The german dub is notoriously bad but at the same time also somewhat endearing because...unlike a lot of german video game dubs you can tell the actors actually put effort into their performance...they just weren't very good for the most part. And they lacked direction.
