crashing when i try to run the games

whenever i try to run any of the games except metal gear solid 1, they crash when i get past the launcher, does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

I had the same problem. In my case I believe it was because my GPU was too old (GTX 750 TI) , and from what I understand it did not fully support DirectX 12, which apparently all of the games in the collections (even Metal Gear 1 and 2) uses, except MGS1.
Using a computer with more recent hardware (the GPU is an RX 6650 XT) fixed the issue for me.
