Kojima watches American movies and adds places he likes to his games. That's why dubbing and cinematic management in games is very good. The voice dubbing of some characters is memorable and good. The game soundtrack is beyond amazing. I made the codec music the sound of my phone.

Game videos sometimes get stuck. Also, there is a delay between cinematics.

The visuals are bad and pixel by pixel. technology of the period :D

The viewing angles are top view and front view.

Especially the story has story integrity with previous MSX games. There is a story integrity throughout the entire series. Play from the first MSX game.

Overall reviews on MGS 1 2 & 3 are mostly positive so yeah.

I believe the entire collection is worth the cost (MG + MG2 + MGS1 + MGS2 + MGS3). While it's not perfect, nor does it actually meet the minimum standard for a PC release (you can't choose a specific resolution, among other options), most of the extra stuff you'd want can be obtained through mods (like the resolution).
It's also the first time all the games are available on PC, and even if some did have a release before, they were far, far worse than these ones.
Even if you have them for PS1/2, it's worth just for preservation purposes (at least until recompilation is possible for PS2 games).

I've been playing these games since the PS2 days, the Master Collection is now my favorite way to play most of these games, especially MGS2 and MGS3. It didn't launch in the state it should have, but it was always perfectly playable and they just keep on improving it. Purchase was totally worth it for me, and I already own these games multiple times over.
