Does modding these games turn off achievements?

I want to play the games in borderless fullscreen and apparently you need to mod the games to do this. Does this disable achievements?

No it doesn't turn off achievements, modded the game too and the achievements still popped.

Why would they even disable achievements ? It's a singleplayer game so don't worry.

for example Paradox disables achievements for certain games if you use certain mods that change gameplay, even if you play singleplayer.

Paradox made Crusader King, Europa Universalis etc all of them are strategic games. I imagine they did it so people don't "cheat" it to unlock them. because the only way to get in most of their game is playing iron man, only one save.

Oh yeah I know these games, well I don't like Ironman due to XCOM1 & 2 ironman (crashes and bug can ruin your run) so I should avoid paradox games if that's the case.

In this collection there is no point in having mods locking your achievements tho.

Xcom... One of the few games that seriously pisses me off to the degree I rage out IRL... I will never in my life, understand how a 95% hit, misses 5 times in a row... I just wont get it.

Now and then I forget, reinstall it, and remember in the starting mission why I hate this game on PC.

The same way you miss a 70% hit and get killed with a 13% accuracy and 5% crit in Fire Emblem.
